Water by George Norbury, Prep School Poet Laureate

Water’s a liquid, which quenches our thirst,

Without it, the world would be barren and cursed.

Living on food, would not be an option,

That sort of idea is not for adoption.

We’re polluting our oceans, and the water’s turned brown,

Now’s the time for our plastic to calm down.

Water’s a drink, and a home for the fish,

Let’s help it survive, that is my wish.

“Let us,as children, take the Earths Burden”
